Client Logins
Q. I can't remember my password to log into accounts online? 
A. Forward an email to accountsonline@laloroshea.ie and a member of the Accounts Online department will be in touch

Q. How do I log in to Accounts Online?
A. Go to www.accountsonline.ie and click on client login - enter your username and password

Q. How do I register for DocSafe? (DocSafe is a secure storage area and allows us to share confidential data with our clients)
A. Enter your details on the following link and enter 'DocSafe' in the query box - http://www.laloroshea.ie/live/contact.asp?id=7 Alternatively, you can contact Ann Willoughby in Lalor O'Shea get set up by emailing awilloughby@laloroshea.ie or phone 059 9137040

Q. How do I log in to DocSafe? 
A. Go to www.laloroshea.ie and click on client login - enter your username and password

Q. I have lost my password to log in to DocSafe - what should I do? 
A. In the login page, enter your email address and click on 'forgot password' - you will receive the password to your email address supplied


Provisional Postings
Q. Where can I see my provisional entries?
A. Go to Accounting, then Provisional Postings. Here you will see all transactions that are in a provisional state. 


Sales Invoicing
Q.
How do I create a sales invoice?
A. Go to Credit Management, then Invoicing, then Data Entry, click on invoice and then enter details. Provisionalise the invoice. 

Q.
How do I browse a sales invoice?
A. Go to Credit Management, then Browse Invoices, enter search criteria. 

Q. How do I add an extra line on the Sales Invoice entry?
A. Select the '+ Line' at the bottom of the screen when in Data Entry. Choose amount of lines you wish to add. 


Banking
Q.
How do I enter a bank statement?
A. Go to Accounting, then Data Entry, then Bank Statement & select bank account

Q. How do I match payments on the bank statement?
A. When entering the bank statements, you can match your payments by clicking on the Invoice Finder icon and select the relevant invoices and match. 

Q. How do I match receipts on the bank statement?
A. When entering the bank statements, you can match your receipts by clicking on the Invoice Finder icon and select the relevant invoices and match. 

Q. I can't provisionalise my bank statement - what should I do?
A. Check that all system codes have been entered, check difference on bank statement, check for any VAT differences. 

Q. How do I add an extra line on the Bank Statement entry?
A. Select the '+ Line' at the bottom of the screen when in Data Entry. Choose amount of lines you wish to add.

Q. How do I enter a credit card statement?
A. Go to Accounting, then Data Entry, then Credit Card Statement & select credit card, then enter the information as per hard copy credit card statement

Q. I can't balance my credit card - what should I do?
A. Check that all correct totals have been entered as per credit card statement, check difference on credit card statement, check for any VAT difference. 

Q. How do I add an extra line on the Credit Card Statement entry?
A. Select the '+ Line' at the bottom of the screen when in Data Entry. Choose amount of lines you wish to add.

Q. I can't provisionalise my credit card statement - what should I do?
A. Check that all system codes have been entered for both expenses/receipts as per credit card statement - check correct amounts are entered - if you are still unable to provisionalise, save the statement as Draft and contact a member of the Accounts Online team. 


Purchase Invoicing
Q.
How do I enter a purchase invoice?
A. Go to Accounting, then Data Entry, then Purchase Invoice, then enter data as per hard copy invoice

Q. How do I calculate VAT on the Purchase Invoice?
A. When entering the Purchase Invoice, select the VAT rate, click on the % icon and the system will automatically calculate the VAT for you

Q. How do I add an extra line on the Purchase Invoice entry?
A. Select the '+ Line' at the bottom of the screen when in Data Entry. Choose amount of lines you wish to add.

Q. How do I enter a Credit Note? 
A. Go to Accounting, then Data Entry, then Purchase Invoice, Tick box beside 'Credit Purchase Invoice', then enter data as per hard copy invoice. 


Viewing Transactions

How can I view my supplier's transactions?
A. Go to Accounting, then Reports, then Supplier Transactions. 

Q. How can I view my customer's transactions?
A. Go to Accounting, then Reports, then Customer Transactions. 


Reports
Q.
How can I view my bank entries to date?
A. Go to Accounting, then Reports, then All Reports, then Bank Statement list, then select bank statement as required. 

Q. How do I view the Extended Trial Balance?
A. Go to Accounting, then Extended Trial Balance, Enter period and click 'Next'. 

Q. How do I view Trial balance, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet?
A. Go to Accounting, then Reports, then All Reports, then VAT Analysis, then View Report.

How do I view system codes?
A. Go to Accounting, then Reports, then General Ledger & then General Ledger Transactions.
